Creating Calm Virtual Group
An eight week virtual program for youth ages 14-17 that encourages connection to self and introduces strategies and techniques that can be used to create a personalized self-care and stress plan that will help create more calm in your life. Each class includes information sharing, Creating Calm strategies, reflection questions, and/or art journalling activities.
Dates: Thursdays beginning January 06, 2022 from 6:00-7:15 PM MST
The Creating Calm Virtual Session includes 7 ninety minute virtual sessions, plus the Creating Calm Workbook. Dates for the Winter Session 2 are:
March 02 - 6:30-8:00 PM MST
March 09 -6:30-8:00 PM MST
March 16 - 6:30-8:00 PM MST
March 23 - 6:30-8:00 PM MST
March 30 - 6:30-8:00 PM MST
April 06 - 6:30-8:00 PM MST
April 13 - 6:30-8:00 PM MST
The virtual sessions will be offered through Zoom with Cheryl Sawatzky facilitating. Once your registration has been received, you will receive an email with meeting info and an attachment with the downloadable workbook. A notebook, journal, or sketchbook is recommended as well as a pen and pencil crayons/markers.
We will accept a maximum of 6 registrations per session to allow adequate time for group discussions and one on one feedback from Cheryl.
Registration deadline is February 28, 2021.
